Mr Jacob Klain epitomizes strategic innovation and excellence in the international arena of technology transfer and defense systems. His academic journey began with a B.Sc in Production and IT Engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, setting a solid foundation for his future endeavors.

His commitment to his country was demonstrated through his four-year tenure in the Israeli Navy, which included three mandatory years and an additional year in a specialized role. This experience provided Mr. Klain with a unique insight into defense and technology, which he carried forward into his professional life.

Mr. Klain's career at RAFAEL Advanced Defence Systems in Israel spanned an impressive 32 years (1980 – 2013), where he held various technical and managerial positions. He played a pivotal role in production, data information, project management, and eventually rose to the position of Systems Division VP for operations and strategic planning. His leadership and expertise were instrumental in the company's growth and success.

From 2004-2012, Mr. Klain further distinguished himself as the General Manager of Rafael's central corporate marketing team in India, significantly strengthening the defense ties between Israel and India.

Post his early retirement in 2013, Mr. Klain embraced the role of Freelancer Senior Advisor for Business Development between India and Israel. His expertise in high-end technology transfers for civil and defense applications has earned him recognition as an ADCAI Distinguished Fellow & Country Head (Israel). He also represents the Virgo Group Ltd in Israel and serves as the Point of Contact for several Indian companies.

Currently, Mr. Klain is actively involved in fostering cooperation between Israeli and Indian companies in areas such as cyber technology, including face recognition, real-time entrance control for ports and enterprises, and innovative customs models for container tracking. His initiatives in Waste to Energy (W2E), establishing centers of excellence in Bangalore and other IT centers in India, and contributions to UAVs, drones, anti-drone solutions, and Home Land Security (HLS) highlight his commitment to advancing security and technology.
